Yes, OK, I haven't really blogged much lately. I've been busy getting ready to go overseas for 5 months.
I'm still trying to decide whether I will set up a separate travel blog or just use this one. I'm also trying to decide what will be my mascot for my time away. Both of these are difficult decisions...
The options for the mascot are as follows
A bear dressed as a possum
A bear decorated with the Australian flag
A bear called 'Lollipop' - a few of you may understand the significance of that one...
Julian the stuffed dog with no nose from Barcelona (would add a nice international flavour...)
A dalek, or collection thereof...
Various other small plastic villains from Doctor Who, or indeed the Doctor himself...
A Coopers dark ale monkey
You see the difficulty I am having?
So, what would you the reader most like to see travelling all over Canada? And should said mascot have its own blog?

- As far back as I can remember, I hated being called Rach. I moved to a new state, got over it, and am now trying to embrace the moniker as the only nickname I've ever had that stuck. I like Doctor Who, vintage Tinkerbell, the colour red, butterflies, hats and coffee. I love so many other things that I'm still trying to sort out exactly what I'm going to do about it. This is both exciting and scary. And so the logical thing to do is blog about it, and hope that maybe 3 people will read it if I'm lucky.

A Coopers Dark Ale monkey dressed as a Dalek with no nose named Lollipop. Just because I'd love to read its blog.
Or you could go with tradition and get one of those clip on koala things.
I like the monkey idea. Very Adelaide, not just Australia. And monkeys are just awesome.
MONKEY!!!! You can see if you can find someone to get him/her a friend. =P
Whatever you do with the blog arrangement, commit to one of them and let the other one go idle. I've tried running multiple blogs before, and it never really works out, and I eventually give up on all of them.
